The universal donor 🙌🏼. #oneg

It won’t stop raining! The cat and I are hiding in the bedroom on my Monday off while I contemplate supper and Iver watches Robin Hood. I bought kindling today because... single parenting for a few weeks, working, milking a cow and keeping two fires going 😫. Also, @annakate_loves_birds_ left us for a month to go hangout with my sister @scran_abel and we miss her so much. But she hayed for the farmer down the road this summer and chose this to spend her money on. A quick life update.

The last of the vintage wallpaper in the kitchen. It’s like strolling through the decades as we peel off the layers and then cover them up.

My pa moving logs when I was just a toddler. I used to think the rototiller looked like a pig. And in northern Idaho there are always burn barrels in the background.

Evening November light

I found deadstock vintage lee jeans so I’m making Lew go as a greaser for Halloween. Everyone else will be a surprise! Despite the rain, there will still be a party at our place, although we may be inside at both my moms house across the driveway and our partially destructed house. But hey, perfect for Halloween. Pop on in! And oh ya, bring your instrument!
